Travel Details

​​US Citizens traveling to Costa Rica need a current passport. Check the expiration date to make sure that it does not expire within 6 months of your trip. Visas are not required.
 
The two closest airports to Nosara are Liberia (LIR - Daniel Oduber International Airport) or San Jose (SJO - Juan Santamaria International Airport). From either of these airports, transportation is needed to get to Nosaro, and there are two convenient options:
 
Option 1: Fly from San Jose Airport (SJO)
For those flying into San Jose Airport, you will need to book an additional flight from San Jose to Nosara, which takes approximately 45 minutes and can be booked at www.flysansa.com. This short flight is a beautiful way to get a bird’s eye view of the topography of Costa Rica! Once you arrive in Nosara, we will arrange your transfer from the airport to the resort.
 
Option 2: Shuttle from Liberia Airport (LIR)
For those flying into Liberia, there is a 2.5-hour transfer to the resort, which can be arranged on your behalf. This ride will take you through several towns, and you will get to see more of Costa Rica from ground level!
